This series was shot over the course of a year at the same location between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., capturing the vibrant tapestry of life in the Amsterdam suburb of Bos en Lommer through the simple act of cycling under a bridge.
At first glance, these photographs showcase the diversity of the neighborhood—varying in age, ethnicity, and demeanor. But what struck me after shooting for some time was the unique style of each individual—not just in what they wore, but in how they carried themselves as they moved through their day. Some rush with determination, others travel leisurely, taking in their surroundings, while still others are completely lost in the moment.
